This is the first smartphone from Lava to
come with Android KitKat preloaded. And at the same time it is also the first mobile in this price bracket with latest Android version.
Lava has announced its latest Iris series smartphone, which is named
as Iris X1. It will be priced below INR 8000.
As per the specs revealed, Lava Iris X1 will come with a 4.5" IPS display and is designed like the Iris Pro series launched by the company
recently. It has 8 megapixel rear camera. But nothing has been said by Lava about front camera.
Most probably it wouldn't be consisting Mediatek processor because we haven't seen any mobile with Mediatek processor and KitKat together. That would be something interesting to see.
